No. 5 / COLOR is here, and a thank you

Making No. 5 / Color is here, and it has us feeling incredibly lucky to work with so many fantastically talented makers and sponsors. Here's a few snippets of our favorite shades from this issue.

Each project, tutorial, and design was inspired by the world we live, enriched with hues both vibrant and subdued. Expression and use of color is so deeply personal to every maker, and we're looking forward to seeing how the projects in this issue are interpreted into something new and wonderful.

No. 5 / COLOR is a special issue, because the idea of color has conjured 160 stunning pages from some of our favorite makers, and also because it is the first issue editors Carrie Bostwick Hoge and Ashley Yousling worked on together. We’re so encouraged about the future, to dream and scheme with its many possibilities. We hope you enjoy what is on the pages of this issue, and they bring you light that will carry with you to your own making.

To see the knitwear projects included in this issue, keep an eye on our Ravelry page for No. 5 / COLOR.

We'd also like to thank all of our wonderful sponsors in Making No. 5 / COLOR. A special shout out to A Verb for Keeping Warm, Loop London, The Woolly Thistle, Harrisville Yarn, Brooklyn General, Coco Knits, Purl Soho, Woolfolk, Fancy Tiger Crafts, Cape Cod Shibori, Green Mountain Spinnery, The Net Loft, Ewe Knits, Peace Fleece, and Quince & Co
